After passive vacation period Georgian business companies have actively appeared in
Georgian media. Some of them are mentioned in unfavorable context, namely in scandalous
deals, however, others are mentioned with positive news. In any case, their media activities are
included in the list of most resonance news and in September the top 20 business companies
covered by media are as follow:
The first 10 out of these 20 companies were mentioned in over 100 news in September. Their profile is represented in the chart below:
Out of 10 companies there is only Radisson that is mentioned without assessment. As for the rest 9 companies, the picture is radical. Their media coverage is distinctly positive or distinctly negative.
There are the following companies with positive evaluation: Anaklia Port, Evex, TBC Bank-with 100% positive assessment; Liberty Bank, Nikora and Bank of Georgia with almost 100% positive assessment. Negative companies: Sveti, hotel Vere Palace with 100% negative assessment and Omega-with almost 100% negative assessment.
It is worth noting that in case of hotel Vere Palace only one negative evaluation preconditioned negative profile of the company as the absence of positive assessment could not balance the picture.
