2016 year was diverse towards broadcasting corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of companies in media. Banking sector was one of the active in this direction.

 

The graphic shows percentage of CSR media news among banks during 2016 year. TBC Bank leads the list. 51% of corporate social responsibility (CSR) news is about this bank.

 

 

CSR media news dynamics of the first three banks according to months shows that May 2016 was the most active for all the three banks. Majority of news were broadcasting in media in May.

 

 

TBC Bank is the most interesting and diverse. Among the news broadcasted in media "City-Library"-free electronic libraries at 300 places of Tbilisi, project "Write in Georgian" and "Pirosmani Renovation" projects are worth mentioning. All of them were implemented with financial support of TBC Bank.

 

"Tree of Life" is the most mentioned CSR activity of Bank of Georgia. School library was arranged for children with limited possibilities with the financial support of this project.

 

VTB Bank is active in sports direction. VTB Bank supports children’s rugby team "Chokhosnebi". Besides this, Georgian fencers participates in World Cup with the support of VTB Bank.

 

Other banks aren’t among the three leaders, although they offered interesting activities to society. Pasha Bank is one of them. With its financial support socially vulnerable and talented students were delivered training. Besides this, Pasha Bank planted 2017 Georgian pine-trees with the name of partners.

 

Finca Bank held presentation of entertainment-educational interactive project "My Class Book" for children and adults.
