Statistics of the year 2016
 
During the recent years numerous measures were taken to facilitate development of winery industry. The state supports and subsidizes the sector and at the same time, Georgian wine is actively being popularized abroad. Majority of wine producer companies consider the export of bottled wine as a priority as in Georgia bottled wine has less consumers than lovers of wine on tap. The number of wine companies has considerably increased but they do not spent much on advertising.
 
In 2016 the share of wine companies activity in terms of advertising is about 0,38%.
