Since 2022 pharmaceutical industry is quite significant in media. Georgian PM announced about the initiative to import cheap medicaments from Turkey. This topic became very important. The companies soon responded to the PM’s initiative. Aversi and PSP declared that the negotiations were under way with Turkish side. Pharmadepot and GPC assured the society that consumers would soon be able to buy cheap medicaments imported from Turkey in their chains. According to media Pharmadepot is the first company that imported Turkish medicaments and offered to Georgian consumers in a short period of time. PSP also managed to do it rapidly and introduced new cheap prices on imported products.
