IPM team was interested how many books people read annually. 500 people were interviewed all over Georgia. It was reveled that almost half of interviewed, 48% doesn't read books at all.

The data was divided according to ages. People aged 18-29 read about five books annually, respondents at the age of 30-54 read three books on average. In this age category it appeared that women read more (1 book) than men. Population over the age of 55 read three books a year.

It's also interesting that in 18-29 age category almost every woman manages to read at least one book, while 30% of men doesn't read at all.
